The B49H Bicolor Glass Level Gauge is indicated as the result of the different transparency of the two media and in some cases (for water steam), by conveying upwards on to the surface of separation (between liquid and gaseous substances) a source of light located at the back of the gauge, the rays of which are totally reflected down to the observer.

Through the principle of optical reflection and refraction, the red and green light emitted by the red and green LED light source lamp are fired into the observation window of the water level meter body, respectively, so that the operator can be on the spot in the boiler drum.Or through the industrial television monitoring system in the centralized control room on the display can be directly and clearly observed the situation of the drum water level, observed steam red, water green, steam full red, water all green display effect.

Integrated metal protective cover further shields the sight glass from impact damage.
