XK-UGS Oil Liquid Level Indicator Sight Glass Gauge Glass Tube Level Gauge is a simple & reliable device for direct reading in atmospheric or pressurized tank ap - plication . Mounted side of the tank through flange or threaded connection . Liquid inside the tank passes through a transparent glass tube & liquid can be viewed through the glass tube and mea - sured by a scale mounted on the gauge . Glass Tube (A. Borosilicate glass; B. Quartz glass tube; C. Transparent Teflon tube; D. Acrylic plastic) fully Protected by C-cut frame.
These gauges are custom manufactured accord - ing to the C-C distance reuired. It is avail - able in single length of 2000 mm C-C Distance.We can extend the CC length by PVC tube.
We are providing Air Vent Plug at top & drain plug at bottom for taking sample. We can also provide Inbuilt Isolation Valve on request. PP construction is made with all PP isolation valves & internals

Common Failures & Solutions for Glass Tube Oil Level Gauge

Oil leakage at valve joints

Cause: Aging, cracked or uneven gaskets; loose bolts/cocks.

Solution: Replace intact gaskets; tighten fasteners evenly diagonally.
Blurred, foggy glass tube, hard to read oil level

Cause: Oil dirt, carbon deposit and scale attached on tube inner wall.

Solution: Close cocks, drain oil, remove and clean the glass tube thoroughly.
Glass tube broken

Cause: Impact, uneven bolt tightening, thermal shock.

Solution: Shut off valves to isolate the gauge; replace new glass tube and install protective cover.
Cock valve stuck, cannot open/close smoothly

Cause: Oil sludge, impurities stuck inside valve cavity.

Solution: Discharge residual oil, rinse valve body; replace the cock if severely jammed.
