PP Anti-corrosion Borosilicate Glass Tube Level Gauge is a simple & reliable device for direct reading in atmospheric or pressurized tank ap - plication . Mounted side of the tank through flange or threaded connection . Liquid inside the tank passes through a transparent glass tube & liquid can be viewed through the glass tube and mea - sured by a scale mounted on the gauge . Glass Tube (A. Borosilicate glass; B. Quartz glass tube; C. Transparent PTFE tube; D. Acrylic plastic) fully Protected by C-cut frame.
These gauges are custom manufactured accord - ing to the C-C distance reuired. It is avail - able in single length of 2000 mm C-C Distance.We can extend the CC length by PVC tube.
We are providing Air Vent Plug at top & drain plug at bottom for taking sample. We can also provide Inbuilt Isolation Valve on request. PP construction is made with all PP isolation valves & internals

Corrosion Resistance Scope

Suitable corrosive media

1. Most dilute inorganic acids: dilute sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid
2. Alkali liquid: sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide of all concentrations
3. Salt solutions, electroplating wastewater, brine
4. Water-based weak corrosive liquid

Unsuitable media

1. High temperature liquid above 80℃ (PP softens & deforms)
2. Strong oxidants: concentrated nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide, chlorine water
3. Organic solvents: alcohol, benzene, acetone, paint thinner (swell & crack PP)

Compare with PVC

1. Higher heat resistance: PP up to 80℃ vs PVC max 60℃
2. Better alkali resistance: PP withstands concentrated lye, PVC ages quickly in strong alkali
3. Poor anti-solvent performance for both plastics
