PVC Plastic Cock Glass Tube Level Gauge is manufacturedding to connected vessprinciple . It guide fluid into glass tube them fluid level can be read out through glass tube. Safe steel balls are installed in both upper needle valve and lower needle valve . In case the classplate is broken , with the liquid pressure , the steel balls can shut up automatically the fluidchannel so as to prevent the fluid from leaking excessively. Glass Tube (A. Borosilicate glass; B. Quartz glass tube; C. Transparent Teflon tube; D. Acrylic plastic) fully Protected by C-cut frame.
These gauges are custom manufactured accord - ing to the C-C distance reuired. It is avail - able in single length of 2000 mm C-C Distance.We can extend the CC length by PVC tube. We are providing Air Vent Plug at top & drain plug at bottom for taking sample. We can also provide Inbuilt Isolation Valve on request. PVC construction is made with all PVC isolation valves & internals.

PVC Glass Tube Level Gauge Corrosion Application

1. Material characteristics

The whole meter body (valve, pipe joint, base) is PVC plastic, matched with glass sight tube. Temperature limit: 0~60℃, only low pressure PN6.

2. Applicable corrosive media

Suitable for low-concentration inorganic acid, weak alkali, salt water:

• Dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid
• Light sodium hydroxide solution, brine, electroplating wastewater

3. Media NOT applicable

1. Strong alkali, high-concentration acid
2. Organic solvents (alcohol, acetone, benzene, gasoline) – solvent will dissolve and crack PVC
3. Medium temperature over 60℃, hot corrosive liquid
4. Oxidizing liquids (hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid)

Conclusion

PVC glass tube level gauges can be used for mild corrosive liquids at normal temperature low pressure, but cannot withstand strong corrosion, organic solvents and high temperature corrosive media.
