UHC-C-F PP anticorrosive magnetic level gauge provides clear, high clarity indication of liquid level. Magnetic Level Gauges are principally designed as an alternative to glass level gauges.XU KANG offers Magnetic Level Gauges in top-bottom, top and side mounted construction with two types of indicator system i.e. Capsule and Bi-colour Rollers. Magnetic Level Gauge is consists of three major components: Float Chamber, Float and Indicator System.

Anti-corrosion Magnetic Level Gauge operates on the principle of magnetic field coupling to provide fluid level information. Float chamber is typically constructed with non magnetic pipe having process connections that matches to the vessel connections. Float size and weight is determined by the process fluid, pressure, temperature and the specific gravity of the process fluid. Float contains magnets to provide 360o magnetic flux field.

1. Basic model:

Suitable for level measurement of liquid medium which working pressure less than 4.0MPa, and working temperature lower than 200℃.

2. Anti-corrosion model:

It’s suitable for acid, alkali and many organic solvents. It use PTFE lined stainless steel, PPR, PVC as body material.

3. Jacketed model:

Applied to antifreeze, insulation and heating level measurement occasions. Jacket type: steam jacket, water cycle jacket, vacuum jacket, electric heating jacket, and electric warming jacket.

4. High temperature high pressure model:

It’s suitable for high temperature and high pressure level measurement occasions. The maximum process temperature is 520℃. The maximum working pressure is 32MPa.

Main Body Materials of Anti-Corrosion Magnetic Flap Level Gauge

Classified by corrosion resistance strength and applicable media:

1. 304 Stainless Steel Lined PTFE (Most Common General Anti-corrosion Type)

Outer tube body: SS304 stainless steel (mechanical strength, pressure resistance)
Inner lining: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE / Teflon)
Adapt to: Weak acid, weak alkali, salt water, organic solvents, sewage
Pressure: Medium-low pressure vessels; cost-effective mainstream model

2. 316L Stainless Steel Lined PTFE

Outer body: SS316L, better anti-rust than 304
Inner lining: PTFE
Adapt to: Chloride-containing media, dilute hydrochloric acid, chemical brine, fine chemical materials
Used for medium corrosive chemical storage tanks, reaction kettles

3. All-Plastic Integral Body (PP / PVC / UPVC)

PP (Polypropylene)

Whole tube body molded from PP without metal outer shell
Adapt to: Normal-temperature dilute acid, dilute alkali, sewage, plating solution
Limitation: Cannot withstand high temperature, low pressure resistance

PVC / UPVC

Low cost, for normal-temperature clean corrosive wastewater
Not resistant to high temperature and strong solvents

4. All-PTFE Full Teflon Body

Entire measuring tube made of solid PTFE
Highest corrosion resistance, resistant to almost all strong acid, strong alkali, aqua regia, halogen medium
Shortcoming: Poor pressure resistance, only for atmospheric / low pressure normal temperature equipment

5. Carbon Steel Lined PTFE (Q235-B lined PTFE)

Outer carbon steel for high pressure bearing, inner PTFE anti-corrosion
Low cost for large-diameter, high-pressure corrosive medium tanks
Widely used in petrochemical, desulfurization absorption towers

6. Alloy Anti-corrosion Body (Hastelloy / Monel / Titanium)

No lining, solid alloy seamless tube body

Hastelloy C: Resistant to strong oxidizing acid, chlorine, hydrogen chloride
Titanium TA2: Resistant to chloride, seawater, hypochlorite
