Operation Notes for High Temperature & High Pressure Magnetic Flap Level Gauge

1. Startup & Heating

Slowly open upper and lower isolation valves step by step, never fully open at once; gradual preheating avoids thermal shock deformation of the pipe body.
Fully drain trapped air inside the measuring tube, air pockets will cause inaccurate liquid level display.
After pressure rise, re-tighten flange bolts evenly while hot to prevent steam leakage.

2. Daily Operation

Prohibit strong impact on the gauge body; severe vibration will damage internal float and magnetic components.
Keep magnets, electromagnets away, external magnetic field disturbs the magnetic flip indicator.
Regularly check for scaling, sediment accumulation; clean timely to prevent float jamming.
Do not adjust valve sharply to avoid violent medium surging inside the tube.

3. Maintenance & Shutdown

Isolate the gauge completely via two main valves before overhaul, fully drain and cool down the internal medium.
Never disassemble under high temperature or pressure state.
Replace special high-temperature resistant float and sealing gaskets only; ordinary accessories cannot withstand high-pressure steam.
After reassembly, slow pressure test to check leakage before formal use.

4. Environment Safety

Complete heat preservation and heat tracing if needed to prevent condensation and scaling.
Equip metal protective cover to avoid high-temperature pipe scald accidents.
