YWZ Series Oil‑Temperature & Level Gauge

The YWZ series is a side‑mount visual indicator for hydraulic and lubrication systems.

It is installed on hydraulic oil tanks, lubrication stations, cooling boxes and gear boxes. It directly shows real‑time oil level; the T‑type version also displays oil temperature with dual Celsius/Fahrenheit scales.

It helps operators check oil volume to avoid pump cavitation caused by insufficient oil, and monitor operating oil temperature for system protection. It is widely used in machine tools, engineering machinery and general industrial hydraulic equipment.

Working condition: Working pressure 0.1‑0.15 MPa, working temperature ‑20 ℃ ~ +100 ℃.

YWZ Oil‑Level Gauge – Installation Notes

Mount vertically on the side wall of oil tank, keep the scale upright for correct reading.
Avoid impact, bending and heavy load on the gauge body during installation.
Tighten fittings evenly; do not over‑torque to prevent cracking of the glass or plastic tube.
Select compatible gaskets resistant to hydraulic oil to avoid leakage.
Keep away from heat sources and direct flame.

Common Faults & Solutions

Oil leakage

Uneven tightening or damaged gasket. Replace gasket and fasten screws evenly.
Blurred viewing surface

Oil contamination or dirt. Clean the surface; check oil quality inside the tank.
Incorrect level reading

Inclined installation or blocked inner channel. Re‑install vertically, clear blockages.
Temperature indicator fails (for temperature‑integrated type)

Thermo‑element damaged. Replace the complete YWZ gauge assembly.
