The radar level meter antenna emits extremely narrow microwave pulses that travel diffuse space at the speed of light.When it encounters the surface of the medium under test, some of its energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna.The time interval between the transmitting pulse and the receiving pulse is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the medium under test.Because electromagnetic waves travel at very high speeds, it is difficult to determine the time interval between the emitted pulse and the received pulse (on the nanosecond scale).The 26G series radar object level meter USES a special correlation resolution technology to accurately identify the time interval between the transmitting pulse and the receiving pulse, thus further calculating the distance from the antenna to the surface of the medium under test.
