Brass Sight Glass is widely used in pipelines and equipment important accessories. Copper Water Flow Indicator It can also be used normally and effectively when the medium is corrosive. It has the characteristics of small installation size, small driving torque, simple and quick operation, and at the same time it has a good flow regulation function and closed seal characteristics, the sight glass in large and medium caliber, medium and low pressure, it is the dominant form of the sight glass.

Flanged units are available in five styles designed to accommodate various mounting positions, fluid characteristics, flow rates and directions:
1. Plain Style - May be installed in any position to observe fluid flow in any direction. These style indicators are usually employed to detect either the presence or absence of solutions, or to observe fluids for turbulence, color or clarity.
2. Drip Tube Style - This style is well suited for vertical lines with downward flow direction. These units are particularly recommended for applications characterized by low or intermittent flow rates, such as distillation processes.
3. Flapper Style - Recommended for monitoring either horizontal or vertical lines with upward flow. The flapper position indicates current flow rate. Flapper style indicators are the appropriate choice for use with clear and semi-opaque solutions.
4. Rotator Style - This style indicator may be installed in any position to indicate flow in any direction. The visibility of rotor motion makes this style particularly well-suited for monitoring clear, translucent or dark solutions.

2. Injection Molding & Die-Casting Mold Cooling Loops

Mold cooling water pipelines, oil cooler water circuits. Check if cooling water flows normally to avoid mold overheating.

3. Small Boiler & Heating Water Pipes

Domestic heating circulation pipes, boiler auxiliary cooling water lines. Brass is anti-rust and suitable for warm water below 90℃.

4. Industrial Chiller & Compressor Cooling Water

Air compressor water cooling pipelines, laser chiller circulation pipes. Low pressure, clean water medium matches brass material perfectly.

5. Water Treatment Light Corrosion Pipelines

Softened water equipment, pure water circulation pipes, small filtration systems. Brass does not contaminate clean water.

6. Fire Auxiliary Water Pipelines

Small fire sprinkler branch pipes, fire cooling auxiliary loops (non high-pressure main fire pipes).

Material Adaptation Limits

1. Applicable medium: Clean tap water, softened water, low-temperature clean cooling water
2. Temperature range: ≤90℃, nominal pressure PN10/PN16
3. Not suitable: Acid, alkali, brine, seawater, high-temperature hot water over 90℃ (brass will corrode, generate copper rust)

Brief

Brass flow indicators are widely installed in central air conditioning circulation pipes, mold cooling water lines, chiller and boiler warm water pipelines with clean fresh water medium below 90℃. They cannot be used in corrosive media such as acid, alkali and salt water.
